Melody

The melody sections consists of  44 pipes.  These are made as 22 pairs with one pipe being used for the bourdon and the other for the celeste ranks.

I had a bit of panic when I was voicing these pipes.  I was tuning them with an electronic tuners and found that I needed to slide the stoppers about halfway down the pipes.  This meant that the handles were not long enough and seemed very odd.  Eventually, I checked the tuner against my Orla organ and Yamaha keyboard and found that it was about half an octave out.  The instructions
